What we make, and how it reaches the frame.

Six disciplines under one roof. Most projects use several of them; none of them exist to fill a deck.

  • Set design & drawing

Concept development, scaled plans, elevations and camera-position studies so the build is resolved before it exists.

  • Fabrication

Carpentry, plaster, resin casting and metalwork on our own floor, sectioned for load-in to any stage.

  • Surface & finishing

Custom paint, patina, texture and treatment work, sampled under the shoot's intended light before approval.

  • Lighting design

Pre-light and grid plans built around the frame, including gel work, hard-source shaping and in-camera colour.

  • Product staging systems

Modular risers, plinths and hidden rigging for high-volume e-commerce runs that must stay consistent.

  • On-set art direction

A fabricator and art director stay through the shoot, adjusting the build frame by frame.

Where it applies

Three kinds of shoot, three kinds of build.

Beauty & skincare set built by SceneCraft Studio

Beauty & skincare

Macro-scale sets where a single millimetre of shadow decides whether the texture reads.

Fashion & editorial set built by SceneCraft Studio

Fashion & editorial

Full-scale architectural builds, drapery and colour environments for movement and figure.

E-commerce at volume set built by SceneCraft Studio

E-commerce at volume

Repeatable staging systems that hold their look across hundreds of SKUs and multiple shoot days.

Engagement

Scoped by build, not by the hour.

Single-set build
One environment, designed, fabricated, lit and struck. Typically three to four weeks from brief to shoot day.
Campaign programme
Multiple sets across a shoot week, sharing a material language and a lighting grid.
Staging system
A reusable kit of risers, surfaces and rigs handed over with documentation for in-house teams.
