Refund Policy
Last updated: [Effective Date]
1. Scope
This policy applies to all set design, fabrication and on-set services commissioned from SceneCraft Studio and forms part of our Terms of Service. Set builds are bespoke commissions produced to your brief, so refunds are assessed against work completed and materials committed rather than as a blanket return.
2. Booking deposit
The booking deposit reserves build capacity and shoot dates and is non-refundable once design work has started, except where SceneCraft Studio cancels the project. Where design work has not started, the deposit is refundable less an administration charge of [Administration Fee].
3. Cancellation by you
- More than [Tier 1 Notice] before the build start date: deposit retained, no further charge.
- Between [Tier 2 Notice] and [Tier 1 Notice]: [Tier 2 Percentage] of the quoted fee, plus all materials ordered and non-recoverable subcontractor commitments.
- Less than [Tier 3 Notice] before the build start date, or after fabrication has begun: [Tier 3 Percentage] of the quoted fee, plus materials and crew already committed.
4. Postponement
One postponement may be made at no charge with at least [Postponement Notice] written notice, provided the new dates fall within [Rescheduling Window] and capacity is available. Later or repeated postponements are treated as a cancellation and re-booking.
5. Cancellation by SceneCraft Studio
If we cancel for any reason other than your breach or non-payment, you receive a full refund of all sums paid for undelivered work, including the deposit. Our liability in that event is limited as set out in the Terms of Service.
6. Work that does not meet the approved specification
If a delivered set materially departs from the approved drawings and finish samples, tell us within [Defect Notice Period] of load-in. We will remedy the build at our cost where practicable. Where remedy is not possible before the shoot, we will refund the portion of the fee attributable to the affected element. Dissatisfaction with an outcome that matches the approved specification is not grounds for a refund.
7. Non-refundable items
- Bespoke materials, castings and finishes already produced or ordered.
- Third-party hire, haulage and permit fees already committed on your behalf.
- Crew standby charges incurred because of client-side delays.
8. How refunds are made
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within [Refund Processing Period] of written confirmation, in the currency of the original invoice. Bank charges and currency movement are not reimbursed.
9. Disputes and statutory rights
Raise any refund dispute in writing to contact@prismis.site. We aim to respond within [Dispute Response Period]. This policy does not affect rights that cannot be excluded under the consumer or commercial law of [Jurisdiction].
